EMEA Technical Support Representative

Location: EMEA

Ag Leader Technology, Inc. a pioneer and recognized technology innovator of precision agriculture hardware and software has a career opportunity for a Technical Support Representative. This position will report to the Technical Support Supervisor in the EMEA Customer Support Department. Located either remotely or from EMEA office, this role will be supporting and training our Russian speaking customers, while working close together with EMEA support in Heumen (Netherlands).

Description

Ag Leader Technology, Inc a leader in the precision farming electronics and software industry has an opening for a Technical Support Representative. This is a challenging opportunity to gain experience and expertise in precision farming. You will be trained in installation, operation and troubleshooting of planter monitors, rate controllers, yield monitors, mapping software, GPS, guidance and steering systems. There will be opportunities to participate in distributor training, and industry trade shows. Your work will have an impact on product development of current and future products.

Responsibilities Include

  • Provide outstanding technical support and customer service for customers via telephone or email.
  • Gain expert knowledge through study, support, and training on Ag Leader products
  • Create & translate technical and training documentation used by customers, dealers and Ag Leader staff
  • Present training on Ag Leader systems to customers, dealers and Ag Leader staff
  • Assist the Repairs department with repair & testing equipment that needs to be run in field conditions
  • Willingness to travel
  • Willingness to work outside of standard business hours
  • Provide input for continual improvement and development in a team environment.
  • Other duties as assigned by Technical Support Supervisor

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Ag Systems Technology or other related Ag or technical field preferred.
  • Experience using a computer system to perform daily tasks.
  • Must be fluent in Russian and English languages, spoken and written.
  • Understanding of basic electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and direct Supervisor.
  • Employee must be able to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and effectively communicate any problems encountered in daily tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately and proficiently handle problem-solving situations in a fast paced environment.
