Precision Point Comments Policy

We welcome and encourage comments on Precision Point. Many Precision Point blog posts can trigger intellectual and informative conversations among our readers and bloggers, and we want to promote these interactions. However, to ensure a constructive conversation takes place, we’ve developed the following policy.

Comments will be moderated. Comments will be reviewed before they are posted on Precision Point. Please do not repost comments if you do not see your comment posted immediately; comments will be posted within normal business hours (US CST) once they are approved.

Be respectful. Please use common courtesy when posting comments; avoid using profanity, offensive statements, violations of copyright, or other inappropriate items. Precision Point will not tolerate any slander toward blog authors, other blog readers, or any subject matter. Precision Point is written for a wide variety of audiences, so please keep all potential readers in mind when commenting.

Stay on topic. Although precision ag topics are often closely related to one another, please make sure your comments pertain to the topic at hand. Although we will not limit the length of your comment, try not to overwhelm fellow readers with unrelated or unnecessary information.

Be conscious of your links. Sharing information from outside sources can be beneficial, and we encourage you to link to other sources for more information. However, please avoid promoting products, blogs, or services that are not on topic; any comments that resemble advertisements will not be posted.

Precision Point comments will be closely monitored; if comments require any editing or censoring in order to meet the guidelines, they will not be posted. Disregarding any of the guidelines above will result in your comment being excluded from the blog.
