Using Your Data to Grow More Than Just Your Crops

by Nov 21, 2013Ag Leader, SMS™ Software, Training & Support

Each year Ag Leader welcomes our customers and dealers to training sessions located at the Ag Leader Academy in Ames, IA as well as to other locations across North America.  This winter is no different, and a common question we get from our SMS customers is “what training session is right for me?”  We admit that the list of training types is lengthy, but like many precision farming decisions, there is no ‘one size fits all’.  We always recommend our desktop software users start off with an SMS Basic training course, and if running the SMS Advanced Software, following up with the SMS Advanced course.  These trainings are a great place to grow your knowledge about the SMS Desktop Software, and cover many of the most commonly used tools.  You can view the agendas for both of these courses by clicking here

But what do you do after you’ve attended the Basic and Advanced trainings?  Are your training options limited to attending the same class again?  Absolutely NOT!  Our SMS Certified Level I training course is perfect for our users looking to grow their SMS knowledge even more.  This in-depth course is 3 days long and builds on the knowledge gained in the SMS Advanced course.  Not only will you develop your skills with the analysis tools, but also gain experience with the time saving batch tools and how to effectively manage all of your data, all while interacting with other SMS users.  This course ends with an exam that will allow you to become ‘SMS Certified’.  To see the extensive list of items covered, click here for the agenda.  To see what previous attendees of the SMS Certified Level I course have to say, view this previous blog.
