Section I: GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The RUN screen is the main operating screen for the display.  The RUN screen has four main areas:

Also, the current time is displayed in the lower-right of the screen.

Section II: DESCRIPTION OF RUN ITEMS

GPS Status Button

The button on the left side of the top status bar is an indicator of GPS signal.  If no GPS is connected, the button will show "--".  When everything is operating normally, the button will display "DGPS".  The "D" indicates that the display is getting a differential signal. "GPS" indicates that the display is getting a GPS signal and the GPS receiver is tracking four or more satellites. A lower-case "gps" indicates a GPS signal but the receiver is tracking only three satellites. The GPS receiver must track four or more satellites to get an elevation reading.

Pressing the GPS Status Button will display the GPS Information page.  GPS-related information including: latitude, longitude, and elevation, as well as more advanced information, is available at all times while operating.

When connected to a Trimble Autopilot the following diagnostic items are available under the GPS status button.

SYSTEM Status Button

The button on the right side of the top status bar will bring up the System Information page: System-related information including: memory card space (if inserted), display hardware and software versions, and CAN-bus information can be viewed here.

Module specific diagnostic tabs will be available under the system status button.  For example if harvest CAN Bus sensors are communicating with the display a Harvest Diagnostic selection will be available.  The diagnostic tab is useful to verify proper communication between the modules and the display.

Status Bar

The Status Bar between the GPS and SYSTEM buttons displays the current product and system warnings.

MAP and Legend

The Legend on the left side of the map area can be toggled between the different attributes being mapped (such as Yield and Moisture at harvest).  The current legend can be edited by pressing on the legend ranges.  The legend Average, Range Spacing, Color Scheme, Ranges, Enable Automatic Legend, Save Legend and Reset Legend can be found here.

The Zoom Jump toggle control resides at the lower-left of the map area which allows the map to be zoomed in all the way (Zoom Detail) or back out all the way (Zoom Extents) with one key press.  A Zoom Extents/Zoom Detail button appears when you zoom in to allow jumping back to full map view.

The map is oriented so that North is always up.  Press the general area of the map to bring up the manual pan and zoom controls.  Press the left, right, up, or down buttons to pan the map.  Press the zoom in or zoom out to see more detail or more map respectively.  Press the map area again will turn the pan/zoom controls off.  Pressing the Zoom Extents button will also turn the pan controls off.

Field Button

To select the Field to operate in, press the Field button (fields, growers and farms are created in setup).  An option to Filter Fields by Farms is available below the field selection. When you select the field, you also need to select the Operating Configuration (equipment) and the Product.  When these items are selected, pressing ACCEPT will display the Region Selection.  Press ACCEPT to start the first Region of the current operation.  The active Field and Region is displayed below the buttons.

If more than one application of a product is done in a field, then increment the Instance to save the previous operation's data and map for viewing under the Summary screen.  A new Instance will start a new data set and start a new map.

Selecting the Field button while logging will prompt a Field Totals dialog box to display.  Area complete, area left (from boundary), distance traveled, average speed, and average productivity are the types of details available with Field Totals.

Region Button

Regions are sub-parts of a Field.  You can break up a Field into multiple Regions as you see fit.  There will always be at least one Region in each Field for each operation.  To create a new Region, press the Region button.  Press the New button.  To edit the name of the Region, press Edit Name.

Additional selections are displayed on the Region Selection page depending on the operation type.

Four Display Items

The four display items on the right side of the screen update to show real-time data.  Each of the four display items can be switched out with one from the palette of mode-specific display items by pressing the button on the line to be changed.  The configuration details that the palette of display items represents is displayed above the selection of display items.

The Master Switch indication is not displayed with most application configurations, the master switch status, or in some cases, feedback from the flow meter is used to turn logging off/on.
