We are always looking for ways to offer more SMS trainings in different locations, during varying seasons and even in different training environments. In addition to the classroom and online trainings we’ve been offering for several years, in July we started offering a free Introduction to SMS Webinar. We’ve had great turnouts for these sessions and are proud to announce that starting in September we will begin offering Introduction to SMS Advanced and SMS Mobile Webinars.

On August 9th and 10th, we hosted our first SMS Certified II Training Session at Ag Leader Academy.  We’ve been offering the SMS Certified I class for several years, but with the constant advances in the precision ag industry we recognize the need to provide ongoing education.

This summer, Ag Leader has brought in its dealers from all over the country. By August 12th, Ag Leader Academy will have hosted 62 dealer trainings since June 2nd, and a total 110 dealer trainings for 2011! This large number of trainings gave dealers the ability to fill over 1400 seats to date for 2011.

Over the past few weeks, I have been creating several new hardware video tutorials. This past spring, we introduced our technical support video tutorials that demonstrated various features of the INTEGRA and EDGE displays. As the harvest season is rapidly approaching, we have added new videos explaining the yield monitoring functions of both the INTEGRA and EDGE displays.
