Ag Leader Supports Today’s Promising Agriculture Students
AMES, IA, January 25, 2016 – Today, Ag Leader Technology, a leader in Precision Farming hardware, software solutions and services announced their 2015 Precision Agriculture Scholarship selections. Since 2008, Ag Leader’s Precision Agriculture Scholarship has been assisting today’s best and brightest students studying Precision Ag. Students receiving this year’s scholarship include:

Tate Klocke, Agricultural Engineering, Rockwell City, Iowa
Andrew Sauerbrei, Ag Systems Technology, Iowa Falls, Iowa
Eric Wuebker, Ag Systems Technology, Rockwell City, Iowa
To be eligible for the scholarship students must be studying a major within ISU’s ABE, meet GPA and credit requirements, as well as be currently enrolled in or have taken a class in precision agriculture.
In addition to the Precision Agriculture Scholarship, Ag Leader supports ag education though numerous other facets. In 2012 when Iowa State University was building their new Biorenewables Complex, Ag Leader donated $250,000 to the building project, home to more than 800 graduate and undergraduate ag students.
Iowa State Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Professor Matt Darr said, “Ag Leader has been a key partner in enabling us to maintain excellence in our precision ag teaching program. Through the donation of hardware and software, Ag Leader’s support ensures that our students are trained on the latest technology and exposed to hands-on labs that prepare them to contribute to the growing precision ag industry.”
