Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, test, and repair electronic components and circuits
  • Follow a schematic, learn and understand analog and digital circuits
  • Design, build and maintain automated test fixtures
  • Tester PCB assembly, through hole and SMT component installation
  • Use of custom electronic computer controlled test equipment and software
  • Component level circuit board rework
  • Monitor and manage repair part inventory
  • Use company ERP software for repair documentation and repair billing
  • Communicate with customers if necessary to better understand product failures

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2-year Associates degree and/or 2 years related experience preferred
  • Solid troubleshooting and root cause analysis skill set required
  • Proficient at various computer data entry systems
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills as well as attention to detail
  • Experience in troubleshooting, soldering, and repairing multi-layered circuit boards down to the component level
  • Strong soldering / de-soldering experience required using irons, hot air, or other
  • Ability to use standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, volt meters, & power supplies
  • Understand the importance of ESD safety and follow guidelines
  • Desire to promptly and conscientiously repair customer equipment
  • Automotive, Ag electronics, and/or Ag background a plus
  • Must be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds and sit/stand up to 8 hours/day
