The Opportunity

To work within the product management team identifying new product opportunities, planning how they fit in Ag Leader’s strategy, while maximizing the impact these products have in our customers’ operations.  In this position you will be responsible for multiple activities critical to the development and stewardship of products throughout the product life cycle phases.

  • Manage product life cycle including market needs, opportunity definition, roadmap, development, and end-of-life
  • Collaborate with others to proactively identify product opportunities related to row crop planting operations
  • Become a product expert, developing a deep understanding of product operation, product positioning, and competitive products in the marketplace
  • Assist with product development objectives and schedules for all phases of product development and introduction to market
  • Collaborate with support and engineering teams as needed for advanced support of released products
  • Assist with developing product manuals and documentation resources
  • Conduct market research to identify and track market trends in the Precision Ag industry

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in Agriculture or related technical field
  • Strong desire for continuous learning
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with general farming practices in production agriculture
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently solve problems in a fast-paced environment
