The Opportunity

Be a member of a strong team, helping to identify and broaden opportunities within strategic crop and grower market segments. Work with dealers, customers, and the sales team to showcase the value of the Ag Leader brand and products across key regions.

Responsibilities

    • Help build dealer confidence in key product lines that have high regional impact
    • Work with TM to build strong dealer relationships
    • Conduct & manage regional tech trials to bring awareness to Ag Leader products and to capture customer experience
    • Build strategic relationships with universities and other key businesses within the region that support sales & marketing plan
    • Support regional efforts and sales plan as needed
    • Work with Product Sales Specialist & Marketing to capture regional storytelling assets leveraging tech trials, university & other key regional partnerships
    • Engage with growers to help us better understand how to meet their needs
    • Provide regional customer insights that will help us better position our product across different segments of the market
    • Contribute content for TM, Dealer and Grower education
    • Contribute to product positioning and messaging
    • Analyze data from Tech Trials and provide comprehensive insights that will benefit the cooperator and customer
    • Travel approximately 50%.

Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or agriculture
    • 3-5+ years’ experience in a marketing, sales or customer-facing role in agriculture
    • Hands-on experience using precision application products and data management platforms like SMS
    • Persuasive and charismatic presenter, comfortable presenting to groups of all size as well as on camera
    • Experience using various drone & camera technology & professionally editing content
    • Strong written and communication skills
    • Strong organizational aptitude and ability to manage time effectively
    • Ability to collaborate with different departments and set proper expectations to drive results
    • Proven success in a product management or product marketing role with go-to-market experience
    • Agronomy background a plus
    • Must live or be willing to relocate to the territory (Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota)
