The Opportunity

In this position, you will be the Scrum Master for a cross-functional Scrum team building software for embedded and custom-touchscreen devices. You will be responsible for guiding the team’s process and removing obstacles they face while designing and delivering quality, innovative solutions that meet customer needs. You’ll have the opportunity to gain experience in building high-performing teams capable of consistently delivering and moving on to the next high-impact project.

Responsibilities

    • Work with team members to uncover obstacles to team delivery and improvement, track them, and engage the necessary people to remove them
    • Coach a team in their development process, using Scrum as a framework and guiding them to what works best for the team
    • Facilitate team meetings
    • Help the team and product owner maintain a properly groomed and prioritized backlog
    • Use conflict resolution methods to help ensure a happy and healthy Scrum team

Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited academic institution, ideally in a technical field (e.g. Engineering, IT)
    • 3+ years’ experience in product development focused on software products in any position on a team
    • Certified Scrum Master
    • 1+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master
    • Additional areas of interest
      • Understanding or experience in programming languages
      • Experience with agriculture, particularly row-crop agriculture
      • Experience with project management techniques
      • Experience pulling together data from various sources and analyzing it
