The Opportunity

As Testing Project Lead, you are responsible for planning and coordinating functional testing and field testing of new products and features from all Ag Leader product lines. You will be a champion of releasing quality products. You will collaborate with departments throughout the company to ensure Ag Leader releases high quality products that meet the needs and improve the lives of our customers.     Responsibilities

      • Lead the development of a testing plan that ensures quality and customer satisfaction, taking into consideration our whole portfolio of current and future products
      • Collaborate with other teams to ensure project execution and schedule aligns with other development and manufacturing teams regarding field testing and release dates
      • Communicate testing team needs, risks and concerns for internal and field-testing plans to ensure issues are resolved throughout execution of project
      • Analyze interproject dependencies to understand and communicate effects and trade-off decisions for all projects currently in development   
      • Own the testing team backlog, ensure it is maintained, relevant and prioritized across multiple projects
      • Work with other leaders in the company to improve and execute our product development process
      • Identify testing initiatives that contribute to the future success of our team
      • Promote a positive team culture that grows members abilities and ensures a high performing team

    Qualifications and Skills

      • Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in related technical field
      • Desire to continually grow leadership skills
      • Experience with Agile software development
      • Experience with general farming practices and precision ag use in production agriculture
      • Deep Knowledge of technical and customer use for at least one Ag Leader product line: Displays, Steering/Guidance, GPS, Harvest, Planting, Application, Desktop Software, Water Management
      • Experience with Ag Leader product development teams preferred
      • 5+ years’ experience in a product development environment
