EMEA Welcomes Rob Ormel

There is a new technical service and support representative at the Ag Leader office in The Netherlands.

Rob Ormel earned his master’s degree from the famous Wageningen Ag University in The Netherlands. Rob graduated with a degree in Agricultural and Bioresource Engineering, and wrote his thesis on the development and simulation of a cost-revenue model for new products in agriculture. During his study, Rob had an internship at the AGCO Fendt tractor factories at Marktoberdorf, Germany.

For his bachelor’s degree, Rob specialized in the design of a safety system on a spraying vehicle in orchards and strawberry fields. This practice is typical in high value crops.

Rob started at the EMEA office, with his focus on non steering related products. A trip to Ag Leader headquarters for training and further information about products and procedures is planned in the future.

Rob’s ability to speak Dutch, German and English, makes him a great asset to the team.
