Recap of the Fort Wayne Farm Show

by Jan 16, 2016Ag Leader

This past week I had the pleasure of working the 27th Fort Wayne Farm Show in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The farm show was the first event for the recently expanded Allen County War Memorial Coliseum and Ag Leader was fortunate to get a spot in the new addition. I was told that this farm show seems to grow in size and importance each year and without doubt I believe it.

Ag Leader shared a larger booth this year with its subsidiary, Soil-Max, and as always the interest in the ability for growers to install their own field tile was a huge draw. At the Ag Leader booth, the new InCommand displays, AgFiniti Mobile, Hydraulic Down Force and SMS desktop software were the hottest topics.

As with any show, we get the occasional appreciative feedback that our older products are still in the field and working well. One grower brought his 2006 InSight by with an “off” touchscreen but with a quick screen recalibration it was as good as new. Appreciative of the quick service and seeing the value in the new InCommand™ 800, he headed over to his dealer’s booth and initiated a trade in. Great customer service and quality products are what Ag Leader is all about.

Here are a few pictures from the show:

The Hydraulic Down Force stand garnered a lot of attention as growers look to affordably and effectively address compaction issues.
