Introducing Tech My Farm Winners – The Howells!

Meet the Howell Family of Danville, Ohio! They’re the winners of Ag Leader’s Tech My Farm Giveaway, receiving $25,000 in Ag Leader equipment. For the next year, we will follow this deserving family on their journey to learn about and utilize precision farming technology on their operation.

This past summer Ag Leader launched the Tech My Farm Giveaway, giving farmers with little-to-no precision farming technology on their operation the opportunity to win $25,000 worth of Ag Leader equipment. To enter, contestants had to submit a short video introducing themselves, their farm, and how precision farming technology could positively impact their operation. The contest received 11 great entries and over 24,000 public votes to determine three finalists.

After the finalists were identified, an internal vote of Ag Leader employees selected Lora Howell as the winner. Lora and her daughter, Lindsey, and son, Justin, operate a 500-acre diversified farm in Danville, Ohio. Take a look at Lora’s winning video below!

Lora worked with local Ag Leader Dealer, Precision Agri Services Inc. to choose the equipment package best suited for her operation. Her package included an InCommand™ 1200, OnTrac3™, SureStop® row clutches, and a combine kit for yield monitoring.
