by Nick Ohrtman on March, 07 2013 in International Perspectives

Ag Leader Brazil is continuing to add staff to be able to service and support our customers and dealers locally. In this blog, I will be introducing Andre Fabri and Felipe Castro who have joined the team as Technical Support Representatives. Andre and Felipe will be assisting dealers and customers with Support and Training on all our products throughout Brazil.

Andre comes to Ag Leader with five years of experience working in sales and support for a precision farming software reseller in Brazil. With this company, he was responsible for collecting field data to be analyzed on precision farming software and creating prescription maps for farmers. He also delivered courses for agronomists and end users such as “What is Precision Farming: its steps and tools.” In addition to software support, Andre has assisted with installation of precision farming equipment on planters throughout Brazil. André is originally from Curitiba, Paraná, and received his degree in agronomy from the Federal University of Paraná. In his free time, he likes to spend time with his wife Michele and daughter Sofia, who is almost 1 year old. He also loves to cook barbecues at his grandma’s house together with his family.

Felipe comes to Ag Leader with four years of experience in precision agriculture as a Training Instructor for CNH (Case New Holland) focusing on guidance, GPS and application control equipment. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineer from the Federal University of Paraná. After two weeks of training in Ames he is back to Curitiba where he will be located in Ag Leader’s main office for South America. In his free time Felipe likes to go out with his friends, travel with his girlfriend and visit his dad and sister in Rio de Janeiro. He plays tennis and soccer and loves to watch American football.
