Getting to Know Ag Leader's Customer Support Team – Part 6

As we progress through the 2012 growing season, you may find an opportunity to call and speak with one of our Customer Support Representatives. “Putting a face with a name” is one way Ag Leader strives to make our Customer Support as personalized as possible. We here at Ag Leader place high importance in our staffing quality and would like to continue to introduce our Full-Time staff as we grow the Technical Support department. This week’s blog will focus on two of our recent Full-Time employee additions: Andrew Jungers and Ryan Carlson.

Andrew has been working with Ag Leader Technology as a member of the Technical Support Team since November 2011. He provides product technical support to customers and dealers over the phone and through training assistance. Growing up and assisting on his family farm in Hospers, Iowa, a small town in the Northwest corner of the state, Andrew has been involved within agriculture throughout his life. Andrew attended Iowa State University and chose to major in Agriculture Systems Technology because of the hands-on technology based courses; particularly drawn to its precision agriculture emphasis. He graduated from ISU in May of 2011. After college Andrew spent some time testing GreenStar equipment for an independent firm just south of Ames, IA. Outside of Ag Leader, Andrew enjoys spending time with his friends and family, playing sports, riding his motorcycle and snowmobile.

Ryan started with Ag Leader in November of 2011 as a part of the Technical Support team.  Ryan grew up and is still actively involved in his family’s farm which includes corn, soybeans and a cow-calf operation.  Ryan graduated Iowa State University with a degree in Agronomy, and spent a year and half with a local coop as an agronomy apprentice before deciding the precision agriculture field was what he really enjoyed.  In his spare time, Ryan enjoys hunting fishing and snowmobiling.

I would also like to take this opportunity to mention our Support Hours have changed. The following weekly schedule will be in effect until the Harvest season begins.

Monday – Friday
7am to 6pm CDT

Technical Support hours for the weekends (until further notice) will remain as:

Saturday: 8am-4pm

Sunday: 12pm-4pm
