by Jul 3, 2014Ag Leader, Training & Support

Every year, Ag Leader hires several interns, giving them a first-hand opportunity to dive into the world of precision agriculture. For a period of seven months, these interns take the time to fully train and integrate themselves as full-time members of the technical support team.

Justin started working for Ag Leader in January of 2014 as an intern for the Technical Support team. Justin is currently a student in the department of Agronomy at Iowa State University and is expected to graduate in May of 2015.  He grew up on a family row crop farm outside of Oelwein, located in Northeastern Iowa, where he continues to play an active role in the operation. When Justin is not in the office, he enjoys being outdoors, playing basketball, and spending time with family and friends.

Cody began working for Ag Leader in January of 2014 as an intern for the Technical Support team. He will graduate from Iowa State University in the Spring of 2014 with a degree in Agricultural Systems Technology. He grew up in Southern Iowa, where he was active in showing cattle and sheep in 4-H, and continues to help his family with a small cow-calf herd. In his free time, Cody enjoys hunting, fishing, playing sports, and spending time with his family and friends.

Kaitlyn started this past January as part of the Hardware Technical Support team and will be interning with Ag Leader through this coming August. She grew up in West Des Moines, Iowa and is currently a junior in Agricultural Studies at Iowa State University. Although she does not have any agricultural background, Kaitlyn enjoys learning and being challenged here at Ag Leader.  In her free time, she enjoys being active, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with friends.

Joel started with Ag Leader in January of 2014 as an Intern for the technical support team. He grew up in Washington, Iowa, where he worked on his family’s row crop farm. With a strong interest in precision agriculture, Joel decided to go to Iowa State University, where he is currently working towards earning his degree in Agricultural Systems Technology. In his free time, Joel enjoys helping out on the farm, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.
