Machine Guidance Support Team Members

by May 27, 2011Training & Support

Last year, Ag Leader restructured our technical support department to include a new service team focused specifically on GPS, guidance and steering support – the Machine Guidance Support Team. This was done in an effort to more effectively handle some of the complex and specific questions you may have regarding your guidance equipment.

While all of our technical support staff is still extensively trained and knowledgable in the complete Ag Leader product line, our Machine Guidance Support group is meant to streamline calls in this area. Along with myself, our support team currently includes Jordan Ditmer, LeRoy Dickey and Seth Schrader.

Jordan Ditmer Jordan started full time with Ag Leader in January 2010. He worked ten months in hardware support with an emphasis on GPS, and in October 2010, he joined the newly formed Machine Guidance Support group.  Currently within Machine Guidance, he helps run the CBS website (Central Business System for ParaDyme steering systems) and also handles RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) testing for GPS products. During the winter and summer months, he helps put on GPS training classes for dealers and assists with customer trainings throughout the Midwest.  Jordan graduated from Iowa State in December 2009 with a degree in Agricultural Systems Technology.

Jordan grew up near Lacona, IA, and helped out with his family’s small corn and bean operation.  In his free time he enjoys hunting, playing paintball, riding motorcycles and spending time with his soon-to-be wife.

Seth Schrader Seth joined the Machine Guidance Support Team in January 2011.  He is the first Field Support Technician in the Technical Support Department.  Seth works from his home in Indiana, where he assists with support calls and also makes field visits to assist dealers with the installation and support of our ParaDyme and OnTrac2 guidance systems.  He also attends customer training events around his territory of Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio, as well as visiting dealers to give hands-on training to technicians.

When Seth gets some time for himself, he finds himself working with his family's hog and crop operation.  He also enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid outdoorsman who likes to hunt and participate in shooting sports.
